Additionally, Matt has a lacrosse record that makes him emblematic of what WINNERS Lacrosse is all about: being a leader and a good student on and off the field. Matt started in the net for the Blue Devils for 3 years, was part of the All-ACC Tournament Team, an ACC Champion as well as an ACC Academic Honor Roll recipient. Harrison Mudd has been with The Washington Inner City Lacrosse Foundation since May 2015. He has served as Head Coach of the Brookland team, as well as Assistant Coach for the Boys’ All-Star Team. He graduated from St. Albans School with varsity letters in Football, Hockey and Lacrosse, going on to join teams at Boston College and the District of Colombia Lacrosse Club (DCLC).
Harrison began his lacrosse career with McLean Youth at age nine, where he had the familial privilege of playing alongside his older brother, under the coaching tutelage of his father. His tenure at St. Albans saw his election as JV Captain and most notably, the first Varsity IAC Lacrosse Championship in St. Albans history during the 2007 spring of his Senior year with an OT score of (7-6).
In true WINNERS fashion, Harrison came to the program through his association with both local lacrosse organizations and community service opportunities—symbolic of his interests in growing the game in the city he loves, while developing his players on and off the field. In January of 2016, Harrison was engaged to Marymount Basketball player, Amanda Billy. The athletic power-couple resides in Adams Morgan, DC with their cats, turtles and fish…until he is allowed to get a dog.
